It occurred to me recently that I have seen exactly half of James Bond films. For someone who considers himself to be a film buff, I felt like this was an unacceptable situation. I therefor decided that I would watch all of the Bond films from Dr. No through Skyfall in order, re-watching the films that I have seen and viewing for the first time those that I have not. I then decided that it would be fun to blog about it as I work my way through the films.

So over the course of the next couple of months, along with my regular blog posts, I will also be writing my thoughts on James Bond films and attempting to analyze what had made them so popular, so enduring and so iconic. I hope you come along for the ride.
