Monument Script Services helps writers create stories that are well crafted and entertaining, thus giving them the best chance for success. Writing a good screenplay is a terrifically challenging endeavor, and it’s unreasonable to expect one person to do it on his or her own. Whether you’re a new writer struggling with a first draft, or an experienced writer who needs another set of eyes to evaluate your work, Monument Script Services can help.
Monument Scripts provides coverage for screenplays, treatments, outlines, and books intended for screen adaptation. We also help with research, first drafts, and rewrites.
Coverage Overview
Coverage for screenplays and books includes a Grade Page, which contains:
- Logline
- Brief summary
- Ratings on Premise, Storyline, Character, and Dialogue (from poor to excellent)
- Recommendations for writer and project (recommend, consider, pass)
In addition, depending on the level of coverage you select, coverage may include a synopsis:
- Detailed notes on the premise, storyline, characters, dialogue, and structure of the script
- Recommendations for improvement
Submit content in .pdf format unless prior arrangements are made.
Follow up Web conferences are available for $30/half hour with a 30-minute minimum.
Coverage Packages
Monument Scripts offers six script coverage packages, designed to meet your needs at different phases of your project.
Outline Coverage
- Grade page
- 1 page of notes explaining the grades on the first page
$75. Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $10 for 48 hour rush and $25 for 24 hour rush.
Treatment Coverage
- Grade page
- 1 page of notes explaining the grades on the first page
$150. Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $10 for 48 hour rush and $25 for 24 hour rush.
Basic Studio Coverage
- Grade page
- 3 page synopsis of the script
- 1 page of notes explaining the grades on the first page
$200 up to 130 pages; $1 for each additional page; $150 for coverage of rewrites after first round of coverage.
Intermediate Studio Notes
- Grade page
- 4-5 pages of notes on the premise, storyline, characters, and dialogue, as well as the overall structure of the script
- Recommendations for improvement, if applicable
$250 for scripts up to 130 pages; $1 for each additional page. Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $25 for 48 hour rush and $50 for 24 hour rush.
Expanded Studio Notes
- Grade page
- 3 page synopsis of the script
- 5-10 pages of detailed notes on the premise, storyline, characters, and dialogue, as well as the overall structure of the script
- Recommendations for improvement
$400 for scripts up to 130 pages; $1 for each additional page. Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $25 for 48 hour rush and $50 for 24 hour rush.
Script Doctor Service
- Grade page
- The script is read twice and meticulously broken down scene by scene.
- 15-30 pages of detailed notes on the theme, premise, storyline, characters, and dialogue, as well as the overall structure of the script and its marketability and commercial potential.
- Recommendations for improvement
$2,000 for all scripts. A minimum of one week is required for Script Doctor Service delivery, but 10 days to 2 weeks is sometimes necessary. No rush service available.
